Cadet Carter have made their way onto the list of bands to watch in the European Alternative Rock scene in 2018. Within only a mere few
months, the Munich-based four-piece signed to well-known record label
Uncle M Music (Hot Water Music, Boysetsfire, Donots) and released their debut album to great reviews from well-known magazines such as
VISIONS and FUZE, with c
Cadet Carter’s sound to legendary Alternative Rock bands like
Jimmy Eat World
The Get Up Kids, mxing those influences with the down-to-earth attitude of present-day punk rockers such as
The Menzingers and
The Gaslight Anthem.
The band's self-titled debut album has been streamed more than 200,000 times on Spotify since its release in January of 2018.
In their first year of existence,
Cadet Carter have been on tour almost constantly,
supporting well-known acts such as
Touché Amoré, ITCHY, The Dangerous Summer, and
Basement, as well as recording a cover of
The Police's classic song King Of Pain featuring American Singer/Songwriter
Dave Hause. Not bad for a band that’s only been around for about 18 months.
Cadet Carter will spend most of summer 2019
on the road supporting
Dave Hause And The Mermaid and heading over to the United Kingdom for the first time. Additionally, the band is working on record No.2.
